Christiane Roettger

Christiane is a conservation specialist with a particular focus on the conservation of migratory species including snow leopards and saiga antelopes.

She has worked at the Secretariat of the UN-Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) for many years, being responsible for developing and coordinating the Central Asian Mammals Initiative, as well as for the international department of Germany’s Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU). She works as a senior project manager biodiversity and conservation at adelphi and is a Member of the IUCN Sustainable Use and Livelihoods Specialist Group as well as the IUCN Specialist Group on Transboundary Conservation.
